Jimmy Edmond Webb

Jimmy Edmond Webb, age 74, of Tiger, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Born on July 29, 1947, he was the son of the late Edmond Pike Webb and Nancy Ella (Swafford) Webb. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Queen) Webb. Jimmy was a wonderful husband, daddy, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was a member of Lakemont Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and as Sunday School Superintendent. He also loved spending time with his family and enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Melody Queen (Shane) of Clayton, GA, and Byran Webb of Tiger, GA; six grandchildren, Lauren Henderson (Dustin) of Tiger, GA, Jesse Webb of Tiger, GA, Britney Queen of Clayton, GA, Chase Webb of Atlanta, GA, Dylan Webb of Tiger, GA, and Stevie Whatley; three great grandchildren, Allie, Levii, and Faith Henderson; three sisters, Barbara Alexander, Teresa Singleton, and Vickie Hamel; two brothers, Harold Webb, and Doug Webb; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by four sisters, Shelby Jean Webb, Betty Lou Webb, Gladys Cobb, and Dorothy Bleckley: and three brothers, Danny, Roger, and Ricky Webb.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Lakemont Baptist Church with Rev. Jewell Gaines and Pastor Maddison McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow the service at Harvey Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2022, from 6 – 8 pm at Hunter Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Shirley Webb, 137 Turpin St. Tiger, GA 30576.
