Jimmy Mcree

Jimmy Ford McRee, age 85, passed away on January 10, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

He was born on December 13, 1935 in Jefferson, Georgia to Ford and Doncile Veneble McRee. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a bridge inspector. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death is his wife Ola Jane Patterson McRee and surviving him are three sons, Scott McRee of Jackson County, Georgia, Mitch McRee of Jackson County, Georgia and Tony Owens of Clayton, Georgia as well as five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM (the funeral hour) on January 14, 2020 with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the East side Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with Rev Michael Rogers and Tony Owens conducting the service. Burial will be at the Frady Cemetery in Clayton, Georgia

The family is at their respective residences.
