Jimmy "Jim" Alton Whitmire, age 82, of Clayton, Georgia, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wolffork Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Barker and Tony Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow in Wolffork Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Madison McCrackin officiating the graveside service.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home, 423 Warwoman Road, Clayton, GA 30525.
