Mr. John Calvin Cleveland, age 80 of Prather Bridge Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

A son of the late Hubert and Ruby Carver Cleveland, he was born July 17, 1945, in Stephens County, Georgia where he had lived all of his life. He was employed over the years with WABCO, Tugalo Construction Company, Scales Transport Trucking Company, Coats and Clark and most recently owned and operated C & J Tire and Towing Company. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved four-wheeling and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three infant children, Roger, Beverly and Ricky Cleveland, sisters, Mildred Turpin, Frances Head, Ila Smith, Eleanor Mullin, Annie Ruth Pressley and Doris Randall and by brothers, Arthur Cleveland, Joe Cleveland and Wallace Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Yvonne Justus Cleveland; children, Brian Cleveland and spouse Brian Harris of Union, South Carolina, Brandy Jordan of Eastanollee, John Calvin Cleveland II and spouse Carlie of the home and Jessica and Russ Sheriff of Eastanollee; sisters, Sue Stowe and Linda Andrews; brothers-in-law, Waylon Randall and Elwood Mullin; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 9, 2026, 1 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Greg Andrews, Tim Pressley, Vince Head, Chris McCollum, Prelo “Pete” Justus, Jamie Corn, Tracy Justus and Lee Justus.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 12 noon until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Craig Brown officiating.
