Jose Gerardo Correa-Ramirez

Jose Gerardo Correa Ramirez, age 52, of Tiger, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Born on November 6, 1973, Jose was the son of the late Antonio Correa Reyes and Angela Ramirez Moreno. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him.

Jose was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He was always the life of the party and never missed an opportunity to share a joke or bring a smile to someone’s face. His laughter and joyful personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Above all else, family meant the world to Jose. He shared 35 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Maria Eugenia Cardona Valenzuela. Together, they built a family filled with love and memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Jose took great pride in his children and grandchildren, and the time he spent with them was among the greatest joys of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Eugenia Cardona Valenzuela; his children, Maria De Los Angeles Correa Cardona, Jose Gerardo Correa Cardona, Marco Antonio Correa Cardona, Angela Sarahi Correa Cardona, and Armando Gael Cardona Valenzuela; and his grandchildren, Gerardo Gerzhaim Correa Moreno, Geraldine Correa Moreno, and Galia Correa Moreno.

In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by his sister, Guadalupe Correa.

Though his time here has come to an end, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories he created with his family will remain in their hearts forever. Jose will be deeply missed, but his love and joyful spirit will continue to live on through the family he loved so dearly.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. Helena Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hunter Funeral Home, 423 Warwoman Road, Clayton, Georgia 30525.
