Juanita Rawlins

Juanita Patton Rawlins, 90, of Rabun Gap, GA passed away on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at her sons residence.

Born in Habersham County, GA on February 13, 1931 she was the daughter of the late William Eli Patton and Laura Parker Patton. She was a homemaker and a member of Wolffork Christian Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pleasant Rawlins and her parents, William and Laura Patton, by a daughter, Jeanette Rawlins, by brothers, Clifford Patton, Willis James "Bud" Patton, Sam Patton, Billy Patton, "Little Boy" Walter Patton, and sisters, Cora Mae English, Bertha Plumber, Marie Alexander and Etta Ellen Hunnicutt. She is survived by her sons, Roy Ed Rawlins of Mtn City, GA, Pat and Ginger Rawlins of Sopchoppy, FL, Ronald and Beverly Rawlins of McCeven, TN, Paul Rawlins and Ted Rawlins, both of Rabun Gap, GA, daughters, Jennie Sue Pennington of Woodstock, GA, Lisa and Loil Spence of Deland, FL and Nancy Tobias of Rabun Gap, GA and by a sister, Patsy and R.D. Love of Clayton, GA. Six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where a visitation will be on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wolffork Christian Fellowship with Rev. Pat Rawlins and Rev. Roy Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow at Wolffork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home on Memory Lane in Rabun Gap.
