Julia Carol Raub

Julia Carol Raub, age 83, of Rabun Gap, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

She was born on December 5, 1941, in Morristown, New Jersey, to the late Albert Steven Beroshok and Stella Johanna Michaluk Beroshok.

Julia was a devoted Catholic and a faithful member of St. Helena Catholic Church. She dedicated many years of her life working as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room. Outside of work, she enjoyed dancing, birdwatching, and working on puzzles—but her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her beloved dogs, Bertha and Evie. Julia was also an active member of the Red Hat Society before later joining the No Hat Society.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jordan Ray and Austin Ray; and her sister, Betsy Faas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Raub; and her children, Marie T. Ray, Michael J. Beltran, John Beltran, and Stella M. Beltran.

A memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
