Kenneth Charles "JR" Dinges

Kenneth Charles Dinges, affectionately known as “JR,” passed away on October 25, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1958, in Baldwin, Illinois.

JR loved spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for outdoor cooking, a love of Harleys, and enjoyed a good laugh watching the Three Stooges. He loved sitting back listening to good music and throwing darts.

JR is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Dinges; children Kenneth Thomas, Katrina Grassman, Samantha Skiner, Kyle Hess, and Thomas Leever; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents.

A service honoring JR’s life will be held at Watauga Baptist Church on October 27, 2026 at 4:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Saint John Lutheran Church Cemetery in Baldwin, Illinois.

His family will carry his memory in the music he loved, the meals they shared, and the moments spent together.
