Kitty Cantrell

Kitty Lou Gragg Cantrell, 68, of Rocky Top Lane off Bridge Creek Road in the Bridge Creek Community, Tiger, Georgia., died Monday morning, June 2, 2014 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center. She was the widow of Lewis Franklin (Bud) Cantrell.

Born September 18, 1945 in Clarkesville, Georgia., She was the daughter of the late Avery Dave Gragg and Hallie Ruth Kennedy Gragg. She was assistant tax commissioner for Rabun County for twenty plus years and was secretary for the Rabun County Probate office for sixteen years. She was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by two brothers, Glenn Gragg and Dock Gragg and by two sisters, Dolly Gragg and Icie Hamilton and is survived by one brother, Knox Gragg Tiger, GA., and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Grove Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Rocky Grove Baptist Church at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday June 3, 2014 where Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M.

The family is at home on Rocky Top Lane off Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, Georgia. Family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in her memory, to Rocky Grove Baptist Church Children’s Play Ground Fund, 6900 Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, GA. 30576
