Lena Galloway

Lena Christine “Christy” Galloway, 55, of Ladybug Lane, Cornelia, GA., died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home.

Born in Canton, GA., April 13, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Christine Ledbetter Morgan.

She was the wife of Douglas J. Galloway, of Cornelia. She was a nurses aide in the nursing industry. She was a Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Christine Morgan and is survived by her husband, Doug Galloway of the home, by three sons, Randall Dunn of Atlanta, GA., Russell Lynn of Demorest, GA., and Chevy Galloway of Cornelia, GA., one daughter, Alissa Carey of Cornelia, GA., one sister, Susan McConnell of Cornelia, GA. Six grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the New Hope Baptist Church on Pea Ridge Road, Cornelia, GA, with Rev. Chris York officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to New Hope Baptist Church where visitation will be from 12:00NOON to 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018. The family is at the home.
