Lillian Welborn

Lillian Fay Welborn, 88, of Welborn Lane, Clayton, GA., died Tuesday July 23, 2019
in Habersham Home in Demorest, Georgia.

She was born in Rabun County November 3, 1930. The daughter of the late Wiley Welborn and Bertha Coleman Welborn and by midwife Lizzie Keason and lived her entire life in Rabun taking care of others and especially her “Mommy” and “Daddy”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Bertha Welborn, two brothers, Leonard and Jesse Welborn. She was the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by many cousins and extended family including Sherry Brown Crone family and the late Leon Brown Family and a very special cousin, friend and care giver., Lyn Hamilton. Her reputation was kind and a giving person who made it a way of life to mind her own business and live a simple life. Her pleasure was to wake up listening to the birds and feeding her beloved Cat. She loved all God’s creatures, including the bears that ate from her mulberry tree. She will be greatly missed.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and her family is at their respective residences.

The Funeral Service will be a graveside Service at 3:30 P.M. Friday July 26, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery on Bridge Creek Road Tiger, GA.,with the Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating

Visitation will be at graveside Friday July 26, 2019 for half an hour from 3:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. (The Funeral Hour).
