Lillie Alexander

Lillie Marie Patton Alexander, 78 of Clayton died Monday October 17, 2016 at Mountain View Health Care. She was the widow of James Robert Alexander.

Born in Rabun County March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Bill Patton and Laura Parker Patton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

Marie is survived by one son, George (Poncho) Patton (Susan) of Austell, GA., one daughter, Laura Neeley of Cornelia, GA., one brother, Sam Patton of Hollywood, GA. Three sisters, Juanita (Teensie) Rawlins of Rabun Gap, GA., Bertha Plummer of Charlotte, NC., Patsy Love of Clayton, GA., two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 19, 2016 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral home with Rev. Clay Patton officiating. Burial will follow at the Blue Heights Cemetery Mountain City Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday October 18, 2016. The family is at their respective residences.
