Lola Ramey Beasley

Lola Ramey Beasley, age 77, of Clayton, GA, passed away on April 2, 2026. Born on February 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Ramey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Beasley.

A simple woman who was content with the quiet joys of life, Lola had a deep passion for reading and enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas. Above all, she loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Lee Franklin, and his wife, Sherry; her grandchildren, Kasan Blake Shedd, Heather Marie McConnell, and Bradley Gibson (Crystal); and her great-grandchild, Sammie Gibson. She is also survived by her sister, Lula Rose Shirley; her brother, James Ramey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert, Earl, Fred, Russell, Raymond, Juanita, and Mertibell Ramey.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hunter Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
