Louise Collins

Louise Nelms Collins, 82, of Demorest, Georgia., died Tuesday September 6, 2016 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the widow of Harrison W. Collins.

Born in Cleveland, Georgia April 20, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James Richard Nelms and Florence Shelnut Nelms. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Holiness Church of Demorest.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and by a brother and a sister., and is survived by a son, James R. Nation of Demorest, GA., two sisters, Rosie Sutton of Demorest and Annie Burrell of Gainesville, GA. Four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be Friday September 9, 2016 at the graveside at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Demorest, Georgia., at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Stacy Miller. Visitation will be at graveside Friday September 9, 2016 from 1:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). The family is at the home of her son James Nation, on River Bend Road., Demorest, GA.
