Marc Shane Whitmire, 53, of Tiger, GA died Friday, July 26, 2019 in Lakemont, GA.

Born September 8, 1965 in Forsyth County, GA, he was the son of The late Charles Leslie Whitmire and Shirley Jean Martin. Whitmire He lived most of his life in Rabun County.
He was a self-employed painter and a Baptist by faith.

He is survived by a brother, Mitch Whitmire and A sister-law Gail" of Lakemont, GA and a half-brother, Thomas Sparky Whitmire of Clayton, GA and a half-sister Kay York of Clayton, GA and also by two nephews, Jason Whitmire of Clayton, GA and Cody Whitmire of Tiger, GA and several cousins. and loved by everone

The body has been cremated and a clebration of life service will be held at a later date.
