Margie Lee Watts Harkins, age 90, of Rabun Gap, GA passed away on Saturday August 29, 2020 at the home of her son in Rabun Gap.

Born in Rabun County, GA on September 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Frank Watts and Roxie Lovell. She lived her life in Rabun County where she worked as a seamstress for Clayburn Manufacturing. She was a member of the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Roxie Watts, and her husband, Lonnie Harkins, a son Jack Harkins and a brother, Roy Watts. She is survived by two sons, George and Tina Harkins and Tommy and Janice Harkins of Rabun Gap, GA, three daughters, Maybell Fleming, Sue Rogers and Donna and Ty Conner of Rabun Gap, GA and by two sisters, Bobbie Carter of Mtn. City, GA and Gaylon Lusk of Cleveland, GA. Sixteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Head of Tennessee Baptist Church for a VisitationFrom 12:00 to 1:00 funeral Hour on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 1:00pm with Rev. Gabe Southards officiating.

The family will be at the home of her son on Ponderosa Road in Rabun Gap
