Nancy Jean Colvin Wilson

Nancy Jean Colvin Wilson went to be with The Lord on July 11, 2026 at her home in Mountain City. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, June 11, 1935 to Coleman and Irma Colvin, Nancy studied cosmetology and worked in hair salons from Neiman Marcus in Dallas to Bavaria, California and Atlanta. 

Married to Norman Wilson in 1953, Nancy easily adapted to the nomadic life of the Army wife, living all over the western world until settling in Rabun County in 2014.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Randy and Mike, her daughters-in-law Claire Wilson and Teresa Wilson and her three grandchildren: Cole Wilson of Franklin, NC, Katy Wilson of Atlanta and Dave Wilson of Lakemont. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Norman and her younger sister Linda Kay Colvin McComic of Houston, Texas.
