A Celebration of Life for Onie Nay Nunnally Gragg is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday April 29, 2015 at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Clayton, Georgia., conducted by Rev. Danny Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter. Burial will follow at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lakemont, Georgia.
Mrs. Gragg went home to be with the Lord on Monday April 27, at Mountain View Health and Rehab Center in Clayton, Georgia.
She was born on August 19, 1915 in Banks County, GA., to the late James Bryant and Sallie Farmer Nunnally. She was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Otis Gragg and daughters Oma Jean Gragg Lawrence and Betty Sue Gragg Dickerson, sons-in-law Rev. Donald F. Holbrook and J.B. Lawrence, Jr., sister Lona Nunnally Williams and brothers Taft Nunnally and Horace Nunnally.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Gragg Holbrook of Mt. Airy., grandchildren and spouses., Wanda and Richard Smith, Teresa and David Shirley, Pam Ownby, Anthony and Donna Lawrence, Bea and Bradley Gary, Kay York and Sparky Whitmire, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and son-in-law Donald Dickerson.
The body is at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday April 28, 2015.
Memorials may be made to Flat Creek Baptist Church 1433 Low Gap Road, Lakemont, Georgia., or to Gideon’s International P.O. Box 1855 Clarkesville, GA. 30523, The family is at their respective residences.
