Paul Ashcraft, Jr. 68, of Wolffork Road, Rabun Gap, Georgia., died May 6, 2014 at his residence.

Born in Clayton Georgia., September 25, 1945, he was the son of the late Paul Ashcraft, Sr. and Helen Moore Ashcraft, who died April 2014. Paul, Jr. was a machinist, a veteran of Vietnam Nam and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Wolffork Baptist Church. He was the last member of his immediate family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hamby Ashcraft of the home. One son, Robert Ashcraft (Lori) of Tallulah Falls, GA. Two grandchildren, Colbi and Jarod Ashcraft. Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday May 9, 2014 at Wolffork Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Greer and Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M. Friday to-lie-in-state.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at home on Wolffork Road.
