Paul Owens

Paul Stanley Owens, age 59, of Gilbert, South Carolina., formerly of Clayton, Georgia., entered into eternal rest with his Heavenly Father on Friday September 5, 2014 after a short illness.

Born in Alexandria, Va. On March 9, 1955, his heart resided in the beautiful mountains of
Clayton, Ga where he spent a great deal of his life.

Mr. Owens is survived by daughter, Regina Owens Cain (husband Ricky), two
grandchildren, K.C. age 8, Isaiah age 6, close friend Tina Goetzka, siblings Douglas Nathan
Owens (Monica), James Dale Owens (Laurie), Wilburn Arthur Owens (Susanna), Patricia
Lynn Owens White (Joey), nephews and nieces: Nathan Owens, Jacob and Miranda
Owens, Cortney Owens, Jack Owens, Misty and Ryan Drafts, Dustin and Beth Owens,
April and Chris Hamilton, Jimmie and Christy Owens, Brandon Owens, Johnathan and
Jennifer Owens, Josh Owens, Ashley Owens, Gladys Owens, Melissa Owens, Artie Owens,
Amber White, numerous great nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Owens, special uncle,
Wayne Owens and closest cousin, Leslie Owens.

Layman Lloyd Hunter will be conducting the service on Sunday September 7, 2014 ,
10:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church Clayton Ga. Viewing one hour prior to ceremony
at Macedonia Baptist. Pall bearers are Kelly Dendy, Dave Austin, John Munger, Bobby
Jenkins, Brandon Owens, and Jack Owens. Honorary pall bearers are Jacob Owens and
Dustin Owens. Hunter Funeral Home of Clayton, Ga. is in charge of arrangements

Stanley had a loving and unselfish heart that extended to all that knew him. He was a fine
carpenter, carrying on the family tradition of the love of building. The family wishes to
extend their deepest appreciation to neighbors and friends for their outpouring of love
and concern. Special appreciation is extended to Susanna Owens and Carol Nussbaum for
their unselfish Christian love of service to Stanley at time of passing.
