Rachel Turner

Rachel Bernice Crane Turner, 87, of Hwy. 76 West Clayton, died Wednesday July 11, 2018 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of E.C. Turner. They were married for over 45 years.

Born in Rabun County Georgia., October 4, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Dan Louis Crane, Sr., and Lucy Jane Butler Crane. She was a homemaker and a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church for 15 years. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and husband, by three brothers, Junior Crane, Eugene Crane and Billy Crane and four sisters, Willie Crane Patterson, Ola Crane Carnes, Bessie Mae Crane and Nannie Sue Crane Thompson., and is survived by three sons, Danny Crane (Linda) of Talmo,GA., Bobby Turner (Joyce) Cornelia, GA, Eddie Turner (Gina) Of Toccoa, GA., and one daughter Reba Jane Turner of Clayton, GA., eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive. Several nephews, nieces and cousins survive as well.

Funeral services will be Saturday July 14, 2018 at Battle Branch Baptist Church Clayton, Georgia at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Madison McCracken officiating. A graveside service will follow Sunday July 15, 2018 3:00 P.M. at Coal Mountain Cemetery Cumming, Georgia, with speaker Danny Crane officiating. The pallbearers are Tod Crane, Josh Hamilton, Wade Turner Phil Thompson, David Parker, Trampes Stancil and Josh Queen.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Friday July 13, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. The Family is at the home on Hwy 76 West Clayton, Georgia. Ingram Funeral Home of Cumming, Georgia., is in charge of the graveside services and Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
