Reba Hopkins Mize , 72 , of the Chechero Community , U.S. Hwy 76 E. , Clayton , Ga. died Tuesday January 6 , 2009 at her residence .
She was the widow of John Henry Mize .
Born in Rabun County , Georgia April 4 , 1936 , She was the daughter of the late Robert and Susie Smith Hopkins . She was a Seamstress in the Textile Industry and was a member of the Chechero Baptist Church .
Surviving her are four sons ; Danny Mize , Donnie Mize , Roy Mize and Henry Mize all of Clayton , Ga. Two daughters , Janice Henslee of the home and Rita Blackwell of Westminster , South Carolina . Two brothers , Hershel Hopkins of Clayton , Ga. and Haskel Hopkins of Lakemont , Ga. One sister , Dorothy Mason , of Odeta , Florida . Nine grand children and thirteen great grandchildren also survive .
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday Jan.8 , 2009 at the Godfrey Cemetery in the Cherchero Community , Clayton , Ga. with Rev. Jewel Gaines officiating .
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday night January 7 , 2009 . The family is at the home on Hwy. 76 E. Clayton, Ga.
