Ricky Hopkins

Ricky Anthony (Rick) Hopkins, 56, of Tiger, GA, died Sunday January 21, 2018 in Edison, GA.

Born in Rabun County September 8, 1961, he was the son of Virginia Bleckley Hopkins of Tiger, GA., and the late Glenn C. (Rip) Hopkins. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and attended Rocky Grove Baptist Church.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Rip Hopkins and is survived by his mother, Virginia Bleckley Hopkins of Tiger, GA., and by two sons, Jesse Hopkins of Tiger and Sam Hopkins of Tiger, one brother, Doug Hopkins (Michelle) of Clayton and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hopkins, Delilah Hopkins, and Hannah Hopkins.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Grove Cemetery on Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, GA.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be from 12:00 NOON to 2:00PM (The Funeral Hour). The family is at the home of his mother, Virginia Bleckley Hopkins on Hopkins Lane, Tiger, GA.
