Robert Dickerson

Robert William Dickerson, 81, of Clayton, Ga., passed away peacefully at his home Thursday Nov. 9, 2017

Robert was born May 18, 1936 in Rabun County the son of the late William Gordon Dickerson and Eula Taylor Dickerson. ,Robert is survived by his loving Wife , Blanche Thomas Dickerson of 61 years of marriage his children , daughter Pamela Dickerson (Kenneth) and son Gregory Robert Dickerson grandchildren , Matthew Ryan Willliams (Annie ) Joshua Rodney Manley and William Robert Dickerson ; and six grandchildren.

Robert is also survived by Sisters , Azalee Dickerson Kapiloff , Alice Dickerson Justus, and Evelyn Dickerson Wilburn, Brothers Albert Dickerson (Hermie) , Calvin Dickerson (Marilyn ) and several nephews and nieces , cousins and friends.

Robert was employed for 33 years with Consolidated Freight Way as a Truck Driver , a member of the Teamsters Union , and a 73 year member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church.
Robert will be remembered for his generosity , good humor , and his love and devotion for his family.
No Memorial Service is scheduled. In lieu of flowers , a memorial donation may be given to SID WEBER MEMORIAL CANCER FUND , DILLARD , GA . 30537.
