Robert Marsengill

Robert M. Marsengill, 79, of Clayton, Georgia., died Monday February 10, 2014 at his residence.

He was born February 10, 1935 in Rabun County to Raymond and Florence Taylor Marsengill.
Robert was graduated from Rabun County High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked with his father in his father’s Radio and TV Shop in Atlanta and took care of his mother. He spent all of his life in Rabun County. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Florence Taylor Marsengill; by three brothers, Frank Marsengill, Ronald Marsengill and Charles Taylor, and is survived by four sisters; Rose Hudson (Marshal) of Belview, FL and Tiger, GA, Dorothy Shehulski of Watkinsville, GA., Mary Jones (Steve) of Taylorsville, NC., and Margaret Gardner (Blair) of Surf City, NC.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday February 17, 2014 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Roane Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Sunday February 16, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home on Lee Street, Clayton, Georgia.
