Robert Ramey

Robert W. Ramey, 78, of Clayton, GA., passed away at his home on Monday, April 16, 2018.

Born February 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Edward Ramey and Bertha Phillips Ramey. He was an animal control officer with the Rabun County Humane Society and attended the Wolffork Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Talley Ramey.

He is survived by a son, Dale Ramey, of Clayton, GA. and a daughter, Gladys Marie Armour, of Cornelia, GA. He is also survived by a brother, James Ramey of Barnesville, GA., and two sisters, Lola Beasley, of Clayton, GA. and Rose Shirley, of Cornelia, GA. Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 7:00PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Reverend Harvey Conner officiating. Following the service the body will be cremated.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family receive friends on Wednesday April 18, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM (the service hour).

The family is at their respective residences.
