Roger Dale Cobb , 60 , of West Union , South Carolina died Sunday Night Feb.8 , 2009 in Mtn. View Health Care Center in Clayton, Ga.
Born in Pickens, South Carolina October 12 , 1948 he was the son of the late Elzie Monroe Cobb and Minnie Lee James Cobb . He was a Brick Mason and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother , James T. Cobb and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law , Richard D. and Yvonne Cobb of West Union , South Carolina , a daughter, Angela Phipps of Easley , South Carolina by a brother and sister –in-law , Kenneth M. and Mildred Cobb of Pickens , South Carolina ; three sisters and a brother- in- law , Carolyn Jean Huff and Nancy Louise Shivers both of Liberty , South Carolina and Barbara Ann and Kenny Rozelle of Ware Place , South Carolina . Four grand children also survive .
The body has been Cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date in South Carolina .
