Ronald Timothy Moore

Ronald Timothy Moore, age 74, of Tiger, Georgia,  passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at his home in Tiger, Georgia.

Ronald was born December 05, 1949 in Rabun County, Georgia to the late Lindsey Carl and Della Louise Blair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Moore; and his brother, Carl Moore. Mr. Moore had worked over 40 years with the Rabun County Rescue Squad where he had served two terms as Chief for a total of 8 years. His employment included a total of 31 years with Burlington Manufacturing, which later became Fruit of the Loom Manufacturing. He also worked 10 years with the City of Clayton. Ronald was also a member of Tiger Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his giving nature, because he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. The outdoors was a special part of Ronald's life, including spending time hunting and especially fishing. He was an avid animal lover, and loved to spend time with his dogs. Over all, family was the most important part of Ronald's life and he will be cherished as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. 

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Mary Moore, of Chattanooga; twin brothers and their spouses, Larry and Ann Moore, of Clayton; Harry and Kathy Moore, of Clayton; nieces and nephews, Tammy Moore (Scott Watts), of Tiger; Patti Harkins (Jay Falan), of Tiger; Shane Moore, of Tiger; and several great nieces and great nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Boggs Mountain Baptist Church.
