Samuel Moses

Samuel Lee (Sam) Moses, 51, of Clayton, Georgia., died Friday January 6, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, GA.

Born in Franklin North Carolina November 24, 1965 he was the son of the late J.T. and Flora Horn Moses. He was a self-employed commercial house painter and and was of the Church of God Faith.

He was preceded in death besides his parents, J.T. and Flora Moses by one brother, Douglas Moses and is survived by his wife, Melissa Marsengil Moses of Clayton, GA., one son, Tucker T. Moses of Clayton, GA., three daughters, Kayla (Moses) Whitfield of Bainbridge, GA., Samantha (Moses) Barber of Bainbridge, GA., and Delaney Mae Moses of Clayton, GA., two brothers, J.T. Moses, Jr., and Ronnie Moses both of Mountain City, GA., three sisters, Brenda Moses Patton of Clayton, GA., Shirley Moses Sagner of Rabun Gap, GA., and Thersa Moses of Clayton, GA., four grandchildren, Payton Barber, John Michael Whitfield, Abel Whitfield and Riley Barber. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations, be made, in his memory, to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653, Clayton, GA. 30525. To aid in funeral expenses.
