Stanley Turpin

Stanley Dale Turpin, age 63, of Mountain City, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 5. 2025. He was born on January 21, 1961 in Rabun County, Georgia to the late Jim and Lois Turpin. Stanley retired from Walmart where he was a devoted employee for many years. He was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church and had a deep love for reading his Bible and learning about the word of God. He cherished time spent with family and friends and was loved by everyone who knew him. 

 Stanley is survived by his uncle Joe Jarrard (Lora) of Clayton; his nephew Michael Guthrie of Clayton and several cousins. In addition to his parents Stanley was preceded in death by his brother Bob Turpin and his sister Cindy Turpin. 

 Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in honor of Stanley Turpin to Battle Branch Baptist Church PO Box 483 Clayton, Georgia 30525.
