Stephen Keener

Stephen Jamie Keener, 25, of Dave Wall Drive, Clayton, GA, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Habersham County, October 23, 1992, he was the son of Yvonne Dione Keener and the late Eddie McGahee. Jamie graduated in 2012 with a 4.0 GPA with Honors and was a self-employed cabinet maker and a member of Joy Baptist Church. 

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Eddie McGahee, his grandfather, Tommy Shirley, and is survived by his mother, Dione McGahee of Wrens, GA, his grandmother, Sharron Shirley of Clayton, maternal grandparents, Steve and Mary Keener of Wiley, GA. one brother Daniel Dailey of Clayton, two sisters, Sharron Watts of Clayton and Kendall Owens (Tommy) of GA, two uncles, Prelo Justus(Susan), and Joshua Porter(Shannon) both of Clayton, two nephews, Christopher Harrington of Franklin, NC, and Jackson Chastain, of Clayton and one special aunt, Tina Landrum of Wrens, GA. And one special Uncle Winford Justus of Clayton.

Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Saturday September 8, 2018 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm (the funeral hour). Cremation will follow.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 653 Clayton, GA. to aid in funeral expenses.
