Tony Curtis Saunders

Tony Curtis Saunders of Clayton, GA, formerly of Roxboro, N.C., died Sat. June 13, 2026 peacefully with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hester Saunders and Thelma Carver Saunders. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Janice S. Self, and a brother, Larry Saunders.

Tony loved painting and sketching pictures, of which he was great at. He also loved playing drums and guitars. He also loved visiting flea markets and collecting comic books.

He is survived by brothers Roger Saunders (Kathy) of Greenville, S.C., Donnie Saunders of Roxboro, N.C., Stevie Saunders (Daisy) of Long Creek, S.C., and Todd Saunders (Patti) of Lakemont, GA.

Sisters, Bonnie S. Wallace (Les) of Clayton, GA, Lindsay S. Hopper (Jim) of Dillard, GA, and Linda S. Caldwell of Clayton, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by many friends in Roxboro, especially Lenny Webster, and friend Randy Shook of Clayton, and also Eric Leach of Clayton, and many more friends too.
