Wayne Kinsey

Wayne Douglas Kinsey, 72, of Clayton, GA., died Tuesday October 10, 2017 at the home of his daughter, Krista Neely on Louisiana Circle Clayton, GA.

Born in Cashiers, North Carolina, February 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Harry Verdell Kinsey and Johngy Dale Shook Kinsey. He had retired from Duke Power Company as a maintenance technician. He was a member of the Cashiers Baptist Church and was a member Goldwing Road Riders Association and was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Johngy Kinsey, his wife, Sharon Sellers Kinsey and his companion of 19 years Judy Varney. Also a daughter, April Lynn Kinsey a brother, Harry Verdell Kinsey, Jr., and is survived by a son, Travis Kinsey (Patsy) ., three step sons, Ron Dotson (Rosa), Richard Dotson, Bobby Putnam a daughter, Krista Kinsey Neely (Les) ,three brothers, Ronnie Kinsey (Kathy), Richard Kinsey, (Donna) Deed Kinsey (Sheila) ., three sisters, Phyllis Dale Green, Martha Robinson ( Harold) Marcia Stanley (Bryant) . Eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 14, 2017 at the Cashiers Baptist Church, Cashiers, NC., by Rev. Johnny Norris. The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Krista and Les Neely on Louisiana Circle Clayton, GA. There will be a visitation at Cashiers Baptist Church Saturday October 14, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour).

Family asks in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, (in his memory),
to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653, Clayton, GA. 30525 to aid in funeral expenses.
