Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Saint Helena Catholic Church in
Clayton with both Father Pedro Polache and Bishop John Erbelding of the Chapel of Sky Valley,
as Paul was an active member of both congregations.
Paul was born on November 4, 1930 to Catherine Hynish and Forrest Webb in Gettysburg,
South Dakota. Soon after, he moved to Pocohontas, Iowa and was blessed to be raised in his
extended family surrounded by grandparents, his mom, loving siblings, and a close community.
Paul spent his teenage years attending Loras Academy living in East Dubuque, Illinois, and later
became a United States Marine, training for a year in Memphis, Tennessee, and serving his
country proudly as a jet mechanic in Korea during the Korean war. Upon returning stateside,

to see others enjoying themselves. He chose to work as a bartender, living and meeting new
people in many places including Saint Petersburg Beach, Florida, Palos Verdes, California,
Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and Atlanta, Georgia, before retiring to the small community of Clayton.
Among the many highlights of a life well lived are his three children and his marriage to his wife,
Laura, on June 25, 1970. Although Paul enjoyed adventure, such as traveling all over the US in
a motor home, he also enjoyed the almost 30 years he spent as bar manager at the Ansley Golf
Club and the lasting friendships he made there.

Terie Hynish, his daughter Deborah and soninlaw
Dallam Hart, and his many grandchildren:
