Willie Jean Marcus Jordan

Willie Jean Marcus Jordan, age 77, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

She was born on August 8, 1948, in Rabun County, Georgia, to the late Numerous Marcus and Grace Bell Marcus.

Jean was a faithful member of Chechero Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, cherished her family, and found great joy in spending time with God’s people.

She is survived by her sons, Neil Fountain and Richard Fountain; two grandchildren; and her sisters, Vera Lockridge and Carrina Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jordan; her sister, Lotha Gipson; and her brothers, Haskel Marcus and Harold Marcus.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Rocky Grove Community Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating.
