Willie Shedd

Willie Oris Shedd, 84, of Warwoman Road, Clayton, Georgia., died Wednesday Night May 6, 2015 at his home.

Born in Rabun County, Georgia., September 17, 1930, he was the son of the late Emory and Lena Watts Shedd. He was the widower of Mary Elizabeth Burrell Shedd. Mr. Shedd was a retired electrician with Rabun Mills and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death besides his parents and his wife of 60 years of marriage, brothers, Harold Shedd and Clarence, Allen, H.L., and Melvin Worley and by a sister, Marie Bowers and is survived by grandsons, Jim Carver (Tori) of Clayton and their children, Jim Bob of the military and Miranda, Grayson and Abbye all of Clayton. and by Randy Carver of Clayton., also a granddaughter, Kim (Lovell) Christian and their children, Shawn and Mary Elizabeth of Tiger. One sister, Jenny Williams of Mableton, GA., and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday May 8, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Carver, Rev. John Gipson and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Wiley Cemetery.

Visitation at Hunter Funeral Home Friday May 8, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). Family is at their respective residences.
