Willie Weaver

Willie Mae McDonald Weaver 85, of Lakemont, GA., died Sunday September 10, 2017 at her home She was the widow of Robert (Bob) Weaver. And had been employed at the Rabun County Hospital for a number of years She was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church.

Born In Murphy North Carolina., she was the daughter of the late Nathan Alonzo McDonald and Della Carroll McDonald and had lived the greater part of her life in Rabun County, GA.

Besides her parents, she was preceded In death by her husband Robert (Bob) Weaver, by two sons, Ricky and Bruce Weaver ,a daughter, Sandra Weaver and two brothers and five sisters, and is survived by two sons, Mike Weaver (Judy) of Eastonollee , GA., and Scott Weaver of Long Creek, SC. Three Daughters, Debbie Gragg (Dale) of Lakemont, GA., Ginger Holbrooks (Sammy) of Toccoa, GA., Peggy Emory (Tommy) of Mt. City, GA., one brother, Tommy McDonald (Betty) of Atlanta, GA., and one sister, Shirley Keller (Benny) of Clarkesvile, GA., Fifteen grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Blue Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Giovin Rev . Avery Lawrence and Rev. Lamar Kastner officiating. Rev. Lawrence will do graveside service.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be -Tuesday evening September 12, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Tina Alexander on East Wolf Creek Road Lakemont, GA. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P,M. Wednesday to lie in state.
